Winter’s Tale is not a love story.

Winter’s Tales is a guy-friendly chick flick about miracles and faith, not love. Movies released near Valentine’s Day typically have the “happily ever after” or “love sucks” ending, but Winter’s Tale surprisingly provided an alternative. If there is one thing I love as much as love, it’s a good freakin miracle.

Those impossible events that defy human power and scientific law bring me joy. Although it is not a love story, Winter’s Tale feeds your hunger for mushy love scenes (insert love struck emoji) and masculine battles.

Dead Man Down (Watch This)

What’s better than a guy/girl that commands your attention before they speak?

In Dead Man Down, Terrence Howard (Alphonse) commands attention and makes it appear effortless. When Alphonse, a ruthless crime boss, is on screen all eyes gravitate toward him. He is tuff a-hole that accidentally lets out just enough fear to make you consider being compassionate. What he receives is anything but compassion. One set of eyes is out to get him.

Noomi Rapace (Beatrice) and Colin Farrell (Victor) star in the film as two strangers aggressively seeking retribution. Beatrice is a real creep, she remains likeable but you would not want to cross her. Somehow Victor gets entangled in her web.

Go see Dead Man Down to find out how this action packed unlikely love story ends.
