Stitch Fix is your online personal stylist. The magic begins after answering a series of style preference questions that are used to create your style profile. Your personal stylist will then pull items based on your preferences and send them to you in a nicely packed box, like the one below.

On the flap of the box are notes to remind you of how Stitch Fix works. Inside the box or “fix” you will find five items (clothing and/or accessories), a helpful style card, and an item price list. I received the items that I am holding in the picture above, along with the top I am wearing.

Stitch Fix charges a $20 styling fee that can be used toward your final purchase, which seems super reasonable. If you choose not to purchase any item, you have only lost $20. However, that $20 does not cover half the cost of one item, if you choose to make a purchase.

Below are highlights of what I appreciated and disliked about my Stitch Fix. Let’s start with dislikes, so that we end on a positive note.

What I disliked about my Stitch Fix…

  • Too much advance notice is required when scheduling a fix, the date availability is limited.
  • Items are overpriced. The quality and cost did not match up for me.

What I appreciated about my Stitch Fix…

  • The personalization. The stylist addressed me by name, took time to review my social media accounts, and included her name with a friendly closing.
  • How neatly the items were packed. I am all about order and organization. I color code my hangers.
  • The style card, it’s a great tool.
  • Free shipping and returns.

Thanks for reading!

Roshell
